We love to see others doing good. To capture the essence of this, we're taking a glimpse at some incredible people and the work they do. We had the absolute pleasure of interviewing Ankita Batla and her therapy dog Apollo about their wonderful and heartwarming work at Great Ormond Street Hospital and local primary schools.
Here at Tickets for Good, our main mission is simple, to 'do good'. As well as ensuring that our NHS staff and charity users have equal access to events through our ticketing platforms, we also like to signpost our users to other organisations that we think 'do good' and have something valuable to add to the mix.
Tickets for Good continues rapid growth in 2021 and announces that their ‘Ticket Bank’ service will now utilise the Spektrix network of arts venues. This will enable a seamless delivery of thousands of event tickets to charities, social prescribers and the NHS across the UK.
Even though 2020 has been a tough year for the events industry, it has given us plenty of time to reflect on what it is that makes events special. For us, it’s the chance to create opportunities for disadvantaged individuals that may not usually attend events for financial, physical or mental health reasons.
Tickets for Good has teamed up with Triphunters, a prize platform where players can win anything from all-inclusive holidays to at home prizes. This partnership will raise vital funds for our Giving Back Campaign, which aims to provide 30,000 free tickets for live events and experiences nationwide to NHS and frontline workers.
